Caregivers (CNA / HHA / Companion)
At Abby Services we work hard to register only caring, compassionate, trustworthy, & kind Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nurses Aides (CNA), and Companions. All Caregivers are thoroughly screened & meet not only the standards set by the state of Florida but also our own criteria to help ensure you are assisted by only the best caregivers available.
All Home Health Care services are available around the clock.
Caregiver Requirements – The following is a list of requirements all referred caregivers must meet:
- Clearly speak and understand English.
- Be a caring and compassionate individual.
- Mandatory Malpractice Insurance with minimum coverage of $500,000 per incident and 1,000,000 aggregate.
- Level 2 Background Screening (Must include FBI & FDLE screeningas well as AHCA approval)
- CPR Certification
- Alzheimers training
- HIV training
- Validation of Certified Nurses Aide, Home Health Aide training/education
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Physical verifying the individual is free of communicable disease.
